How do you remove all parts of a Western snow plow from Truck?
We have sold our Western Snow Plow and now my husband has to remove it from his truck. It is the Ultramount snow plow and he has to remove the mounting parts and the electrical as well. Has anyone done this? How hard is it and how much time does it take?
Most likely you will have to cut all the bolts with a cutting torch. That’s how I always take a plow frame off.

If you are just using it for parts, and it will never be registered or on the road again, perhaps you can just use a bill of sale to show ownership. Think of it as a collection of "parts" rather than a full vehicle. What would it take to buy or sell a fender? A motor? A transmission? Well, you get the idea. If you’re buying, I’d check with the local police with the VIN to make sure it’s not listed as stolen or having a lien holder, but other than that, this is the one time you don’t have to worry as much about not having the title.
If the seller can get a replacement title, that would be frosting on the cake of course.
