I have a ‘96 grand prix whit a lot of plastic parts. So how would i paint them?
The clear coat has began peeling off so it looks bad. I’m going to paint them white. Car is currently red.
First sand it with 500 to 600 grit sand paper. Make sure you see no gloss afterward, if you do sand more and get all the gloss out. Then take red scotch brite and scuff all the parts. Finally clean it with Wax and Grease remover and remove any debris, fingerprint or whatever with tack cloth and paint it. Since its plastic your painting use flex additive in your paint. Spray it! Good luck.

There are of course physical limits of how much of anything you can fit into a given space but you can customize a vehicle in all sorts of ways limited only by your imagination. Well that and you should take safety into consideration. Doing modifications like this is usually no small matter and would usually require a well stocked shop and more.

Are Daihatsu car parts hard and expensive to find in Australia now that they have stopped selling new cars?
Since Daihatsu has now merged with Toyota and new Daihatsu cars are no longer being sold in Australia, does that mean finding spare parts would be harder and also more expensive? I am asking because I am currently looking to buy my first car and saw a Daihatsu which I really like, but I am concerned about repair costs etc. Would it be inadvisable to buy it or should I just stick to buying something more common like a Toyota??
stick with Toyota they are simply the best
Daihatsu parts will be still available but it will mean that you will be looking a lot harder to find them in Australia, maybe using the internet or wreckers will be best to assist you
